Hi, I’m Bill Tice. I have a background in Mechanical Engineering and am known to family and friends as “Mr. Fix-It”. As a hobby, I have remodeled many homes doing most of the work myself including carpentry, finish work and painting. I really enjoy fixing things instead of buying new. I specialize in fixing cabinets, drawers, doors and trim work. Several years ago my daughter asked me if I could make her a toy box and I then started building furniture for myself and my family. I enjoy combining my engineering and carpentry skills and creating a solid, unique piece that is exactly the size and style that the customer wants. I specialize in making pieces using reclaimed lumber.
Three years ago, I retired early from my corporate engineering job and started my own part-time handyman and woodworking business, Harborview Handyman, to spend time doing what I love to do and to help others so they can enjoy their homes to the fullest. I am fully insured and registered with Massachusetts as a Home Improvement Contractor (MA HIC #188236).
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time on the South Shore with my wife, Susan, my children, grandchildren and granddogs. Check out my gallery and see if we could collaborate on a repair or furniture project.
Thanks for visiting!
